Join New York's Technology Sector

This holiday event is about bringing together different technologies and the people who use them.

Our 2004 event was an enormous success that attracted hundreds of the best and brightest from New York's technology sector.

With support from key groups, sponsors and interest from the City of New York, this year's event will be even better - and better still with your help.

Initiated in 2004 by the New York City *BSD User Group and New York PHP Community technical groups, a number of communities and sponsors have already joined forces to produce the event.

This year, we have renamed the organizing entity to OrgCom, representing the bridge these events have built between the serious technical community in New York, and the business community at-large.

We'll be developing OrgCom into a group that can create a genuine technical community in New York, larger than any current user group, that reflects the professionals in technology. While the Holiday Party will continue to be central in this effort, we also look forward to other events and useful online social resources for technology professionals.

We're looking forward to 2008, and to your group's involvement in this event, and beyond.

How to Participate

Getting involved is easy. If you operate or know of a serious technical community - regardless of the technology focus - simply
Contact Us.

Here's how it works:

We'll put your logo on the left-column of our site.
We ask that our large or small logo be placed on your site with a short blurb of your choice.
Your events, meetings, and presentations can be posted on our site.
We ask that you post at least one announcement about the holiday event to your primary mailing lists.

That's it - if only all technology was so simple.

Of course, we're always open to new ideas and initiatives - Contact Us to get started.
